Sophie Upton

Founder, Livia

Sophie spent her career working inside a wealth management business, moving from general operations into a role building the reporting, dashboards and management information the directors relied on to run the firm. She didn't just build Power BI dashboards — she helped leadership answer the questions that actually mattered: which campaigns were working, how advisers were performing, where the pipeline was slowing down, and what should be automated.

That experience sits at the heart of Livia. Rather than another generalist freelance analyst, Livia is built specifically around the needs of financial services and professional services firms — businesses with regulatory reporting obligations, adviser-driven revenue models and boards that need clear, reliable management information every month.

Livia's approach is deliberately practical: understand how a business currently reports, identify what actually matters to the people making decisions, then build reporting and dashboards that fit into how the firm already works — with automation and AI used wherever they genuinely save time.

How Livia works

An extension of your leadership team, not just a supplier

Livia's long-term value isn't building dashboards — software makes that easier every year. It's understanding a business, asking the right questions and helping directors act on what the data shows.

Embedded, not distant

Time spent with directors and teams, not just with the data — understanding how decisions actually get made.

Built to last

Reporting and dashboards designed to keep working after the engagement ends, not tied to one person's memory.

Commercially minded

Every report is judged by whether it changes a decision, not by how much data it contains.

Let's talk about your reporting
